FireGuard Services is a Nassau, Bahamas-based fire systems service, maintenance, and protection company dedicated to safeguarding lives and property through professional fire safety solutions.
The foundation of FireGuard Services is built on technical expertise, international training, and hands-on industry experience. The journey began in 2019 with our CEO, Theodore Cooper being enrolled at Fanshawe College in Canada as a Fire Safety Systems trainee. During the global pandemic, he gained practical field experience presented unique challenges, but the commitment to the profession remained unwavering.
Two years later, his professional experience began with Andersons Electronics Inc. in Canada, where after eight months of intensive training and field work, full certification and licensing as a CFAA Technician was achieved through the Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA). Mr. Cooper continued service with the company over the following two years provided valuable experience in fire alarm systems, inspections, maintenance, and life safety compliance.
He furthered his professional development continued at Sentinel D.E.C. Systems Inc., where working alongside seasoned industry professionals he strengthened his technical knowledge and practical expertise in fire protection systems and advanced safety solutions.
Today, FireGuard Services brings that international training, technical certification, and real-world experience home to The Bahamas with a clear purpose — to deliver dependable fire protection services and provide clients with confidence, compliance, and peace of mind.
